Contrary to the last post..

Honestly, this has been a really heavy, really stressful, really tiring week for Zach and I.

Last week one of our grandma's was diagnosed with cancer. And today, as we were leaving my uncle's military burial, we received a phone call that our great grandpa had just passed.

Combine that with staying up anywhere between 3:00am and 5:00am every night/morning studying for finals, five shoots to catch up on editing, and hectic work hours, the result is two very tired newlyweds.

Papers. Death. Projects. and Finals. This week is overwhelming.

  1. Thanks for being honest... I'll be praying for you sis... We all have weeks, days, years like that, and its ok to say what's really going on. I won't hold it against you. Remember through the pain and the craziness that Jesus is right there, sleeping in out boat... Sometime He'll calm the waves and peace will wash over us... He is constantly reminding me that He is there, even though it doesn't make things easier, it makes them easier to bear. I know it sounds cliche, but just allow the LORD to bear you up on His wings. Don't despair, have courage, be strong, the LORD is your strength. Be reminded that He loves you outrageously, and He has seen all your days before you were made. He sees the bags under your eyes and the heaviness of your heart. Jesus had sleepless nights too. Don't grow weary in doing good. Take care Katie Ann

  5. Continue holding on and staying strong. The semester is almost over, and your uncle and grampy are finally at rest. One of my favorite hymns during times of trouble is "Part The Waters/I Need Thee" by Selah (look it up). I hope it is a blessing to your soul. :-)
