Our wedding party was a tad large... but a beautiful bunch of faces at that.
Pictured below is my cousin, Brad. We grew up together, and were always building forts, 4-wheeling through the fields, or making new inventions that we thought would sell. On Zach and I's wedding day, he not only contributed to this video, but he also kept me calm the entire morning. The instant I would panic about a small detail, he'd get right to it and have it taken care of. Or if I thought I had forgotten something, he would tell me he picked it up already, or would kindly remind me that I had it in my hands. Thank you, Brad, for your incredible support on my wedding day!
My new family! (I gained seven sisters, four brothers, a niece and nephew, and two incredible in-laws!)
Just some beautiful sisters and a good-looking husband. :)
HE KNOWS ME. So well. He didn't get anything big or flashy, but he put an incredible amount of thought into the ring. The ring is based off a late 1800's vintage design, and refurbished in white gold. He told me after he proposed, "What I like most about this ring is the symbolism I connect it with. It represents how we were once old and made a new creation in Christ. This ring isn't very big, but it has a lot of detail. Katie, you have a lot of hidden detail, and I can't wait to figure it out with you for the rest of my life." Maybe I'm just bias, or in love, nonetheless- that still makes me melt.
Possibly one of the funniest parts of the day was when Zach and his dad (also his best man), decided to perform the song My Little Buttercup. If you've ever seen the Three Amigos, you might catch onto this. They did an amazing job, and had me laughing the entire time.
One of my bridesmaid's, getting married at the end of December!
My grandma put on the pearls she wore at her wedding, I'm so grateful to have this photo!
A shout-out to all the amazing friends and family that put so much of their time into helping with food! You all are INCREDIBLE, and I owe you a world of thanks!
